Is it Addiction? Or Just a Bad Habit?
When I first started dealing with some hormonal issues, I had no idea that trying to follow some basic nutrition guidance would illustrate up-close and personal the true difference between a habit and an addiction.
The basic guidance was straightforward enough: manage glucose spikes by eating fewer refined carbs and reduce extra sugar. I knew it was going to be rough as food has always been a source of comfort, but I jumped right in. With my health on the line, making these changes was a major priority.
